Information
ISESS is a conference organised by Environmental Informatics Institute, on behalf of the International Federation for Information Processing (IFIP), WG 5.11 "Computers and Environment". In odd-numbered years, ISESS is held as a conference, with a complete range of topics related to Environmental Information Systems. In even-numbered years, ISESS is held as a workshop with the focus being on a specific topic. The upcoming ISESS 2004 is being held at James Madison University in Harrisonburg Virginia, USA. Its precedecessors were held at Penn State University, USA (1995), at the Delta Whistler, Canada (1997), at the Nature Parc Solk Valleys, Austria (1998), at the University of Otago, New Zealand (1999), at the Grand Hotel, Austria (2000) at the Banff Rocky Mountain Resort, Canada (2001), at the Panhans, Semmering, Austria (2003), and at James Madison University, Virginia, USA (2004)
